12 Days, 6 Kittens

Hello Everybunny,

First of all, sorry for terrible quality of the following photos. I did entire photoshooting only to find out someone had some fun with settings and I didn't feel like bringing the buns back to the house.

OK. Hello. Today's day was yuck. Raining till late afternoon, we had night-like sky for the most of the day. The bunnies hit their 15 days of age, so I decided to bring them into the house and start some official handeling. They are progressing really well. Sadly, my mum and I broke the kitchen scale last week, so I am not able to weight them. However, they are noticably bigger and heavier then their cousing born on the same day (there's 7). Their colour gives me a headache. Sometimes, they are all the sam, and the, on other days, some look like Creams and some seem almost Red. Hopefully they turn out nice Oranges. I know it's way to early to know, but I did the first sexing attempt and I would say I'm positive we have 3 girls and a boy. The remainig two are maybe girls, but I always sex some bucks as does and I'm not sure about them, so, let's wait a week or two longer. I believe that's about it. Here are some photos taken today, again, sorry for the quality.

This colour on kitten's side is just magnificent.

Fawn couldn't sit still for a moment. The result: beautiful artistic photos.

The kitten in the back (left) looks really Red.

Here you can see their shiny coats, just like Rubin's.

Thanks for reading.

Babies Arrived

Hello everybunny.

As of today, we are marrier for six new memebers. SIX. And to be exactly honest, I didn't expect Fawn to delivere this many. I mean, it's  not really that many babies, but considering that Fawn wasn't accepting of Rubin and is a first-timer, I thought 4 will be the maximum. Also, I didn't expect this litter for about 2 more days, but seems like Fawn and Rubin did it right the first time they were together. Here is a few pictures of our babies, there are six, I know I could try sexing them, but I don't really want to handle them just yet. Sexes are to be announced, as well as colours, but seems like we have some darker and some lighter babies.

What do we have here?

Look, it's kittens (rabbit babies).

Fawn's logic of chosing the place to build a nest.

Here's the view of the nest from another angle.

Fawn actually pulled some fur under the huch,
maybe her original plans were to kindle there?

I know it's not that great photo, but it shows baby's full tummy.

Me: "Who's a good mama?"
Fawn: "I'm a mother now, be aware!"

Here is one for the end.

For more information on the litter, make sure you visit our Litters page. Also, make sure you visit RPR YouTube and see the first video of the babies. Thanks for watching and stay tuned for news.
