A Little Farmer

Hello everybunny, a bit different post today.

I have been living on a suburban countryside for all my life and my goal has been to finish college and move to a big city far away from country because I never found myself into farming or farm animals. But, as my love for rabbits is growing bigger and bigger every moment I share with them, seems like my attitude for farm jobs is changing. As we all probably now, rabbits need veggies in their daily diet. And buying greens would be spending a real fortune, so for a start I ended up growing my own food. I planted some triticale (wheat + rye) into an old metal casserole about a week ago. Also, I dag out some wild carrots from my orchard and planted it into an old cheramic pot, hopefully it's gonna grow. So, here's few pictures of my new portable garden.

We went harlequin

Hello everybunny,

This post is another one of "we are back". We really feel sorry for not posting in about a month, but Marko's brother ended up in hospital due his epilepsy and you all know some sort of infection visited us and sadly we lost 12 rabbits. But every cloud's got a silver lining. As one of our breeding does passed, we could take in another rabbit. About a month ago we were offered a rabbit by Marko's relatives. They got it as a joke present, but despites the fact they live in countryside, had no intention on keeping him. And as Marko once visited them, they shown him what he believed to be a brown harlequin buck and Marko wanted to name him Jaffa. Sadly, we had no free place take him in at the time. And as some cages got free, the lovely relatives dropped the bunny. First thing first, it was not the brown but black harlequin. Seems like he's not gonna be Jaffa. Second, he is not he. So we ended up with a nameless black harlequin doe we never espected. This morning, with the great help of RabbitTalk members, Marko ended up nameing her Sari. So, here are some photos of Sari, Rubin and me. Enjoy.

Sari:
I'm a camera shy Harlequin mix, about 4 months old doe.

Rubin:
I don't feel like being photographed today.

Fawn:
Duhhhhh, I'm Fawn.

P.S. One of my sisters, Erna, kindeled last night, so I am proud Auntie as of today.

Love you all, XoXo
